Sh!t H@ppens...!!!!!

Rohit and Krishna was sitting in room in Dehradun and Rohit was quite depressed.
Krishna: what happened???????
Rohit: yaar, how should I tell you, I don’t whether to concentrate on what is going to happen next day or what has happened just with me?
Krishna: OK first of all tell me what happened??????
Rohit: OK listen……

6th Nov, it was a different day for me. It was my 3rd time that I was going to give SSB for Indian air force. Excited or confused or still not confident, I wasn’t able to depict what exactly I was feeling. But the day was really important for me. I was going for my dream job.

Amritsar-Haridwar Jan Shatabdi Express started from Amritsar at 7:20 am. The tag of Indian railways always makes the trains to run late from their exact time. Two of my classmates were also going for the same.

My plan was to go Haridwar before going to Dehradun so that I may get some blessings of Ganga Mata before attempting for the interview. I had to report at MCO, Dehradun at 0700 hrs so was having a plenty of time to take the holy dip in the river.

I reached Haridwar at around 2 pm and deposited the heavy luggage in the cloak room and went on the path to Har-Ki-Paudi. The street was crowded due to festival going on there of Janam Shatabdi Divas of Shanti Kunj and Kalash Yatra was going on. I went straight to the river bank for taking the holy dip and deposited the kit over there in a cloak room. I took holy dip in the water and felt so relaxed and good that I wanted to enjoy the dips as much as possible but due to shortage of time I came out of river and covered up myself with clothes. After having bath I went to visit some of the temples over there and visited the market. There so much hustle and bustle due to the festival going over there that even I heard that a day before 20 people died over there due to some violence.

After visiting the temples I decided to give a visit to the guest house built by the priest of my own city. I got the address of that guest house from some of the known and found it out near railway station. A person with a long white beard, long white hairs seeming to be around 75 years was sitting in the lobby of that area and to my surprise was smoking (first shock). I went near him and gave him respect by touching his feet.

Baba: yes????
Me: I came to visit the place, I am from Amritsar.
Baba: ok, you want a room?????
Me: no, I just wanted to visit the place around and to meet you
Baba: the room will get free in the evening, till then the rooms are full
(it appeared as if he was hard at listening)
Me: arey nai nai, I said that I just came to visit the place and I will not stay over here, I have to go to Dehradun this evening.
Baba: ok, bring that chair and have a seat
(I brought that chair and got seated on it)

Apart from me there were some more guests sitting over there who were there due to festival going over there.

Initially he asked me about my city and some more common talks about their temple over there. After some time he started to tell the story of the ancestors of their temple which I found interesting but due to his poor voice quality I lost the interest in that story but still kept on my facial expressions as if I was interested in listening.

After finishing the story he went to his room to make a call and after some time he called me in his room. The room was well furnished and appeared to be as a room of 3 star hotel. He offered me a cup of tea and kept on asking me about myself and what I was doing, and why I was going to Dehradun. I kept on answering his questions because my train from Haridwar to Dehradun was in the evening so I had to pass the time. After having talked about various topics he asked me to have a night stay there. I told him my plan and promised him that during my journey back to Amritsar I will stay there for 2 days. He agreed and ordered food for me; even I didn’t refuse because I was also hungry. I had the food and after having it I went to be seated near Baba ji. By his looks he appeared to be a well human being who is far away and not interested in “moh maya”. The moment I sat near him he started smoking again, I was so shocked to see him that a person like him can also do such things.

After finishing cigarette he went to his room and after few minutes he again called me to his room.

Baba: come this way I want to show you some thing
(Pointing towards the bathroom, he holded me from my arm and pulled me towards that bathroom)
Me: ok I will just see
Baba: look we have bathrooms like this in every room over here, aren’t they good??????
Me: yes they are good. Really amazing
Baba: why aren’t you staying here tonight?????
Me: actually…..
Baba: oh come on, ek raat ki hi to baat hai.

And within a moment he came closer to me. My heart started beating fast, I was facing such kind of situation for the very first time. His hands were on my shoulders and I was confused about what is going on.

Baba: why are you so scared????/
Me: it’s nothing like that but I don’t have that much time to stay.
Baba: buses will start from here in morning at 4 am. You need not to worry I will make sure that you reach there on time. Just stay in my room for this night and I am sure you will feel great.
(I was so much confused and puzzled about the situation that I was not getting a way out, but somehow I realized and handled the situation)
Me: Baba ji, I promise you that on my way back I will definitely stay for two nights.
Baba: sure??????
Me: of course Baba ji.
(the trick worked, I gave him greed of two nights instead of a single night)
Baba: ok then sit here near me, you still have one and a half hour for your train.
(I wanted to leave the situation and that place as soon as possible)
Me: I have to take my luggage from cloak room and have to complete the formalities to get my luggage so it will take time. It is better that I should leave on time.
Baba: but make sure you stay here on your way back
Me: definitely Baba ji

Before I could get out from my previous shock he stood up and hugged me so hard, giving me another shock. He started touching my body, moving his hands down on my thighs and then on my packs and finally targeting on place between my legs. My face got red, goose bumps appeared and I took step backward immediately. I wasn’t realizing that what has happened with me just a few minutes ago. I was realizing what he was talking to me before and what his main aim was. Those talks were still striking my mind. I touched his feet again not for showing respect again. Some people from there entered the room and I took the situation favorable for me to leave and within a moment I was out of that room as well as that guest house. My mind was not able to get back to what is going to happen next day but still was unable to resist the thoughts of what had happened just some moments ago.

Krishna: just try to forget it and concentrate on tomorrow. Now just sleep
I reached Dehradun that night. From that very moment I left that guest house everything went wrong. Train got late, next day I got screened out from SSB for 3rd time, my dream got crushed.
My cell was showing me incoming call “Haridwar Baba G”, I didn’t picked it and deleted that number next moment also adding that number to my block list.
I wish I get out of this memory as soon as possible.

  1. the finish is not perfect. you need to end it properly. ma be the baba was just not smoking a ciagrette and was probably "smoking up" and after that if he did those deeds it was fine. either you need to specify what baba was smoking or state clearly that he was a gay. this seems to be very unreal.

  2. coz after smoking up people usually lose their mental thoughts and are actually tripping. may be it was an outcome of that.
